odelo is one of the world's leading manufacturers of innovative lighting systems with superior design. The company has a total of 4 locations in Germany and 1 in Slovenia, and mainly produces rear lights and small lights for the German premium car manufacturers.

World Class Manufacturing a key component for the future strategy in odelo and is therefore a solid basis for continuous improvement of the productivity in the plant odelo Slovenia.
Last year, from 15th to 16th April 2010, odelo Slovenia organized a workshop on "World Class Manufacturing" together with the German-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. On the first day there were several lectures on this subject. The second day was made more practical. Participants were shown the way of problem solving in odelo Slovenia using the Lean Manufacturing.
Many positive reactions to the first workshop, led to the decision to organize this event annually to present best-practice examples from various national and international companies.
In 2011 we plan to organize a two-day workshop in the period from 19th-20th April.
